We enjoyed a great day out at the fascinating Museo Nicolis in Villafranca di Verona during our trip to Northern Italy & Tuscany.
The No 58 bus from Verona Porta Nuova train station takes just 35 minutes & stops literally outside the entrance of the museum!
The museum is open Tuesday – Sunday 10am – 6pm (closed on Mondays).
There is a very reasonable entrance fee: €14 for adults / €12 for over 60’s & children aged 11 – 16. (2026)
The exhibition space covers some 6000 m2 with over 1000 exhibits on display including over 200 vintage cars, 104 motorcycles, 114 bicycles along with an eclectic mix of typewriters, juke boxes, cameras, filming equipment, model cars, memorabilia, a collection of over 100 F1 steering wheels & so much more!

This fascinating & exciting private collection is essentially a museum of cars, technology & mechanics founded by Luciano Nicolis in 2000.

Don’t forget to look up when you arrive – there is a trio of planes mounted on the roof! The trio consists of a F-104 G “Starfighter”, a Fiat G.46 trainer aircraft & a T-33A Shooting Star jet trainer.
The museum is modern, light, airy & spacious – it is also dog friendly so the whole family can visit!

We highly recommend Museo Nicolis!
